Micro beads that are used in cosmetic products will soon be banned. These micro beads are found in everyday products such as toothpaste and exfoliating scrubs. The reason for banning these products is because of fears that the particles are polluting the seas and could enter the food chain. The plan to ban these cosmetics has been announced by Environment Secretary Andrea Landsom.
