Namibia’s water crisis is impacting both individuals and businesses, large and small. Coca-Cola, for example, has stopped producing its product in the country, citing the lack of water. Other smaller companies, such as a car wash, have invested in water-reducing technology in an effort to stay in business while reducing water usage. Social media campaigns have begun urging people to not wash cars, however. Government mandated water reduction has been instituted in an effort to see the country through until the next rainy season begins in January.
