Lawmakers in Washington DC are being forced to drink bottled water after a recent test found elevated lead levels in the water supply at a congressional office building. The cause of the contamination is currently under investigation. The building, which was built in 1908, is currently undergoing renovations. Washington DC has previously had trouble with elevated lead levels, and reports have shown high lead levels to be downplayed by dozens of US cities.
