Brazil has a big, bay-sized problem. The country is hosting the 2016 Olympic games and there is an issue with the site for the majority of the aquatic events, Guranabara Bay. The water in the bay was tested to be mostly sewage.

However, help is on the way. Several universities in Brazil are pitching in to develop plans to clean the bay before the 2016 games. Treatment plants and other methods are being implemented to filter the waste out of the water in order to protect athletes from disease.
