The United Kingdom has had it share of water issues regarding tap water safety among others. There is also concern regarding water conservation globally due to climate change. However, there are some methods the UK can learn from Singapore regarding its water collection, cleansing, and policy.

Singapore now collects its rainwater from two-thirds of its land through a drain network that directs it directly into reservoirs. It also recycles its wastewater to properly water their crops. They are even in the process of developing new desalination plants to create new water sources should there be a decrease in rainfall.
