All About Turbidity

On July 8, 2015, in Commentary, by Erik

Is your tap water clean? It’s the question many ask themselves each day. One way to monitor your tap water’s cleanliness is turbidity. What is “turbidity,” you ask?

Turbidity is the name given to the “cloudiness” or “haziness” of a fluid. The cloudier your water is, the more likely it’ll cause intestinal problems. Be sure to check your water’s turbidity and if it’s too cloudy, contact the water department to see if there are any issues with your water service.
