Environmental issues are ballooning around the world and Wales is no exception. Reform, diligence, and money are needed in order to maintain or improve the environment. In the midst of this, Welsh Water is lending a hand.

Welsh Water is committing £160,000 to various projects aimed at boosting the environment in its operating area, both on land and in the water. Some of the organizations that have benefited from Welsh Water’s funding in the past include the Monmouthshire Olway and Trothy Project to reduce the adverse impact of plant life in catchments and the Upper Tywi Catchment Restoration Project to reduce acidity in their water.
