Researchers from The State University of New York at Fredonia have conducted research which determined that bottled water is likely contaminated with tiny microplastic particles. Several store bought bottles of water were tested and across all samples approximately 93% of all bottles were contaminated.

Of the brands tested several of the most popular brands across the world, including several used int he United States, were found to contain these microparticles in amounts double what is found in regular tap water.
