Water fountains will reduce the impact of plastic

The town of Southend in the UK is working toward reducing its impact on plastic consumption. Their plan is to install various water fountains in strategic points throughout the town. They feel by giving good clean water away for free, people will not need to use disposable water bottles as much when they are thirsty. The stations will give them that water on access and hopefully cut down on the city’s plastic footprint in the landfill.
