Trump’s budget targets water cleanup programs

The Great Lakes Restoration program is looking at a huge decrease in it’s budget if Trump’s new proposed spending plan goes ahead. The Great Lakes not only provide drinking water to tens of millions of Americans but bring in tourism revenue that the regions count on. The proposed budget is now 30 million from a previous 300 million. Local governments are upset as they can not afford the remainder of what is needed for this initiative.
