The world’s dependence on plastic bottles has contributed to the never-ending problem of polluting our oceans and marine life. While staying hydrated is certainly good for us, there are ways around the public’s overuse of plastic bottles. The easiest thing you can do to decrease your overall plastic use is to find a reusable bottle made out of stainless steel or glass and use it every single day. Another thing you can do is make a DIY shampoo rather than always buying it in the store. Think of all of the plastic shampoo bottles you will no longer be tossing in trash! And finally, make a concerted and ongoing effort to recycle any plastics that you do use.

  • Plastic bottles are being sought out globally in record numbers and this is not helped by the drinks industry which has created a plastic problem globally.
  • To help the planet and reduce the mountain of plastics that are dumped into the environment, one can find a water bottle that he likes to use continuously.
